Water Sports

When the wind is blowing you will see sailboats, windsurfers, and kiteboarders galore. In the calm of a hot summer day, it’s time for wakeboarding, waterskiing, and tubing! Then there are those glorious days, when you would think there is nobody else is on the lake (and you might be right).

Fishing

Excellent for fishing, the lake is full of northern pike, perch, whitefish, and pickerel. Enjoy fishing from your boat in the summer, or ice fishing in the warmth of your hut in the winter. For the sport fisherman, fishing derbies provide an extra challenge.

Aden’s Playground is located in Generations Park, one of the many parks in Shields. While the children play, adults can enjoy the walking path with fitness stations, set up lunch in the picnic shelter, or simply sit on the bench to watch.
